[IGPP Everyone] Safety precautions

Dear All, 



Hope you are enjoying the summer. With classes starting soon, I wanted to remind you of some precautions to safeguard valuables: 



- Lock your office when you leave, even if it's for a short time. 
- If you can't see the door from your desk, consider closing the door. 

- Keep valuables out of sight. 
- If you see anyone suspicious in the building, call the UC police department immediately: 310-825-1491 (x51491 on campus). 

Do not hesitate to call the police if you see someone you don't recognize, or if you feel something isn't right. The police are always happy to come and check on things. They are always polite, friendly, and helpful, even when questioning someone suspicious .
