[IGPP Everyone] [EPSS Everyone] On-the-Spot Award: Hilda Avanesian

Dear Everyone,

An On-the-Spot Award goes to Hilda Avanesian for going above and beyond, as noted below.

Hilda was nominated by Jean-Luc Margot:

Immediately after starting her position in EPSS, Hilda Avanesian was thrown into the complex challenge of organizing lodging and agendas for twelve faculty candidates.  She accomplished this task very efficiently and with a wonderful can-do and positive attitude.  In the midst of all of this, she put herself through all the usual training for new employees, but also the additional training to complete travel reimbursements.  In addition, Hilda did an outstanding job with preparations for the April 5 public talk and reception.  She went to great lengths to secure a venue, prepare all the necessities, interact with volunteers and guests, and set up the reception area.  She also oversaw clean-up of the venue, with a workday that ended at 10 pm.  For doing a superb job since day one and going the extra mile for the April 5 event, Hilda is awarded an EPSS on-the-spot award.  Congratulations, Hilda!
