[IGPP Everyone] [EPSS Everyone] IMPORTANT: timesheet changes

Dear Employees and Supervisors,

Please be extra diligent to submit and approve timesheets on time, especially while we are short-staffed due to Brenda's departure.

As a reminder, any timesheets submitted - or approved - after the deadline will not be processed, and the employee will not be paid until the next cycle, two weeks later. Employees are individually responsible to submit timesheets on time AND to confirm that their supervisor has approved them by the deadline.


Note the special deadlines below related to the campus holiday closure:



Pay Period 12/03/17 - 12/16/17 - B2

  *   Employee: 12 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017
  *   Supervisor: 12 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017
  *   DTA: 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 18, 2017

Pay Period 12/17/17 - 12/30/17 - B1

  *   Employee: 12 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 1, 2018 - submit by Friday, 12/22 if you are not working during the closure
  *   Supervisor: 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018
  *   DTA: 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018
Employees, please follow these steps to make sure you are paid timely:


*         Mark your calendar to submit your timesheet every two weeks according to this schedule: https://ucla.app.box.com/v/pyrl-pdf-trs-pay-sched-current

*         Log on to TRS at https://trs.it.ucla.edu/trs/ to submit your timesheet to your supervisor.

*         Immediately send an email to your supervisor requesting timesheet approval AND include a link to TRS: https://trs.it.ucla.edu/trs/.

*         Look for an automated email from TRS confirming that the timesheet has been approved.

*         If you do not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours, REMIND YOUR SUPERVISOR again. IF YOUR TIMESHEET IS NOT APPROVED ON TIME YOU WILL NOT BE PAID.
