Re: Global Entry Program for UCLA Business Travelers
The UC Travel Center is pleased to announce that the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers will be onsite at UCLA for the purpose of conducting in-person enrollment interviews for applicants to CBP’s Global Entry Program*. The UCLA On-Campus interview is limited to the first 200. If interested, please submit application early.
Global Entry provides the following benefits:

•

Members are eligible to participate in TSA’s Pre-Check program which expedites screening through TSA security checkpoints.

•

Allows pre-approved, low-risk travelers to receive quicker clearance upon arriving in the U.S.

Global Entry is valid for 5 years. A non-refundable application fee of $100.00 will be collected during the application process. A non-refundable UC Travel Center service fee of $20.00 per person must be paid prior to your interview date at https://commerce.cashnet.com/GELI.
If you and your family are interested in participating in the local interview process, you will need to apply through the Global Entry web site (www.globalentry.gov<https://www.cbp.gov/travel/trusted-traveler-programs/global-entry>) by March 7, 2017. See steps on How to Apply below:

•

Go to “Apply Today” on the Global Entry website, and you will link to the Global Online Enrollment System (GOES) site (https://goes-app.cbp.dhs.gov<https://goes-app.cbp.dhs.gov/>). At the GOES site, applicants must first create an account, and then log into their account to submit an application. When applying, be sure to only select the Global Entry option. A $100 non-refundable application fee is paid online at the time of application.

•

Once pre-approved, applicants receive messages in their accounts stating that they are “conditionally approved” for Global Entry, and are invited to an interview. A special enrollment code has been established for your choice of interview date which should be used when scheduling appointments in the system. UCLA Campus interview site for both dates will be at the UCLA Luskin Conference Center.
