Please join us on the afternoon of Wed. March 1st at the UCLA California Nano Systems Institute (CnSI) Auditorium for the Second UCLA Geography Muir Symposium - California and the Birth of a New Environmentalism.

The Symposium features two panels with environmental thought leaders from advocacy, academic and political realms and a keynote by Los Angeles Deputy Mayor Barbara Romero - who has a long career in the environment and governance and is responsible for much of the environmental programs and services of the City. There will be much opportunity for dialogue between the speakers and the audience - so come prepared to help define California's environmental future.

See you there!

Glen MacDonald, John Muir Memorial Chair in Geography.
