[IGPP Everyone] [EPSS Everyone] Slichter Hall Building Assessment

Hello EPSS,

The Facilities Department will be performing a building assessment of Slichter Hall during the week of July 16th.  They will need access to every space in Slichter to look at the various mechanical systems.

Prior to the inspection, they are asking if we are aware of any deficiencies with the following systems (in Slichter Hall) that need repairs.
1) HVAC
2) Plumbing
3) Electrical/Fire Alarm/Elevator
4) Roofing/Mason
5) Carpentry
6) Flooring
7) Other...

If you are aware of any items listed above in Slichter Hall that need repair, please let me know by 2:00 pm on Friday.

Subject: Slichter Hall Building Assessment

The Facilities Management "Integrated Capital Asset Management Program" (ICAMP) team will be assessing the Slichter Hall Building during the week of July 16, 2018. Please direct any questions or concerns to me using the contact information below.

To accomplish this work, our inspectors will be present in every space (research areas will be scheduled) of your facility at some point during the evaluation period. We will make every effort to minimize disruptions to academic, business and research functions. We appreciate your cooperation in this effort and ask for your assistance to inform the Building occupants that we will be present in your facility.

This Facility Condition Assessment Program is part of a Campus Wide Initiative. Our program utilizes a team of inspectors which will evaluate and record the condition of electrical components, mechanical components and architectural components.

Prior to the inspection we would like to know if you are aware of any items within the Building per discipline that may be deficient and should be addressed:
1) HVAC
2) Plumbing
3) Electrical/Fire Alarm/Elevator
4) Roofing/Mason
5) Carpentry
6) Flooring
7) Other...

We have already reached out to the Maintenance Departments for related issues, we have seen the latest Deferred Maintenance List and the recent Maximo History for the Building but we sure would like to have your inside knowledge as occupants which will be of tremendous value.
