Traffic Notice Partial Closure
Description

Starting Tuesday, June 25, 2019 and through summer 2020, LADWP will be present on Sunset Blvd. for construction involving excavating and trenching to install new conduit and cable related to electrical work. There will be two concurrent work areas: Sunset Blvd. between the I-405 freeway and Bellagio Rd., as well as further east of campus on Sunset between Beverly Glen Blvd. and Carolwood Dr.
The work hours will be Monday through Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., and Saturdays between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (hours may be extended as needed). During these timeframes, Sunset Blvd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction at each of the two locations. Outside of these timeframes, all lanes are expected to be open for traffic w ith trench plating. There may be occasional construction on Sundays, as needed.
Please plan for delays if traveling on Sunset between these timeframes. Motorists are also encouraged to approach campus from the south inside of these hours to avoid additional delays.
