SPA Election Results for Years 2019 and 2020

From: Larry Paxton (larry.paxton at jhuapl.edu)

AGU Election results for the 2019-2020 terms have just been announced.

In January 2020: Larry Paxton (SA) will become Past President; Christina Cohen (SH) will move from President-Elect to President; Geoff Reeves (SM) will become the new President- Elect (often referred to as the Vice President). Our SPA Secretaries for 2019 and 2020 will be: SH – Christina Lee; SM – Liz MacDonald; and SA – Romina Nikoukar. We thank Tony Mannucci for his service as SA Secretary; Todd Hoeksema for his service as SH Secretary; and David Sibeck for his service as Past President (SM) - during 2017 until the end of 2018.

Please note that in SPA there is a regular rotation from SH to SM to SA for the post of President. In a little less than two years, we will again seek candidates for the position of President Elect and the then open SPA Secretary positions.

There are many ways to participate in the AGU and in SPA. Your contributions and input are always welcome. Feel free to reach out to your leadership.
