[W6YRA] Next amateur ham radio exam

Bruin hams & hams-to-be,

Who is going this weekend? Right now all I have on my list are Austin 
Norris & Erik Rye. I can take 1-2 more.

Also, is there a preference? If we go to the Torrance exam, we should 
leave campus at 8:00 AM, and be back around noon. If we go to the 
Pasadena exam (and we've been to this one before), we'd leave campus at 
10:00, and be back around 2.

New hams should register with the FCC in advance - this lets you avoid 
using your social security number when filing out the exam paperwork -

There is also a  small exam fee, $15 usually (depends on the exam site).
