[IGPP Everyone] New employee: Michelle Pang

Dear Everyone,

We have hired a new Purchasing Assistant to replace Gloria Contreras. Please join me in welcoming Michelle Pang to EPSS - and to UCLA!  Michelle comes to us from the corporate sector with several years of experience in financial reporting, production scheduling, vendor interactions, and logistical contract negotiations. She is a Triton, having earned her bachelor's degree from UC San Diego, where she majored in management science with a finance focus.

If you are on campus this week, please do stop by 3806 Geology to introduce yourself and welcome Michelle to our department.

Also please note that Michelle will be enrolled in several training classes (starting this week!) and the learning curve is steep so she will need some time to come up to speed with placing orders, etc. In the meantime please continue to submit orders to Mike Rathjen and Rick Fort.
