[IGPP Everyone] [EPSS Everyone] Herumi Baylon

Dear Everyone,

FYI, unfortunately for EPSS Herumi Baylon will be leaving UCLA as of Wednesday, April 26 to accept a position at UC Irvine. We are very sorry to see her go - and she is not particularly eager to leave UCLA, true True Bruin that she is! - but family matters merit her support and physical presence closer to San Diego. Herumi has been a great asset as a fund manager since she joined this department in November 2015, and we wish her all the best in anteater country.

We will try to fill the fund manager position as quickly as possible and, in the meantime, Jim will cover her fund management duties with backup support from Elyse and Mike, as needed.

Please stop by Herumi's office in 3845 Slichter during the next few days to bid her farewell.
